For those who are fans of the Kpop girl group Blackpink, I know you are all aware of your favorite member’s background, and we all know that one member, Lisa is not a Korean citizen but a Thailander. That explains why she isn’t very fluent in speaking the Korean language.

Though she was not born in South Korea, Lisa has been practicing speaking the native language, which is quite improving nowadays. Do you wonder how she studies the Korean language, and how does he improves it? Well, in an interview on the October 17th episode of JTBC’s ‘Ask Us Anything,’ the cast members questioned Lisa how she improves her Korean day by day? To which she revealed that she learns Korean by watching K-dramas. One of her favorites is the 2017 hit drama “Guardian: The Lonely and Great God.” Yes, it not easy for most people to learn Korean only from watching dramas. Lisa still managed to improve her Korean by enjoying her favorite shows.

 Lisa is a big fan of Actor Gong Yoo! Lisa explained that she watched the said drama again because she is an avid fan of the male lead of the drama, Gong Yoo. BLACKPINK‘s Lisa has never been shy about showing her love for actor Gong Yoo. She once admitted in the past that Gong Yoo is her ideal type of man. She shared in an interview before that Truthfully, Gong Yoo is also her ideal type, and have watched Goblin with Rosé. After a few years, Lisa’s love for Gong Yoo hasn’t faded.

In the show, Lisa expressed her desire to take a photo with Gong Yoo and begged Seo Jang Hoon to help make her wish come true. However, it looks like Lisa’s wish is beyond Seo Jang Hoon’s abilities. Kang Ho Dong, without hesitation, then asked Lisa to choose between Gong Yoo and all the cast members of Knowing Brothers combined. Though Lisa admitted that it was quite difficult to make, everyone in the show was reluctant to believe her. Lisa concluded by sharing that she’s not the only person in her family that likes Gong Yoo since her mother is also the number one fan of the actor!

Lisa Manobal was born in Pranpriya Manobal on March 27, 1997. She is famously called by the mononym Lisa. The celebrity is known as a Thai rapper, singer, and dancer based in South Korea. When she was still very young, Lisa was very interested in the South Korean pop industry, and she really admired Kpop groups like Big Bang and 2NE1.
