Some fans may not know that the “It’s Okay To Not Be Okay” star actually used to be an idol trainee under JYP Entertainment! Though he ultimately made his debut as an actor, he has proved time and time again that his vocal skills have not gone rusty. He is one of the few actors to be cast in “Dream High” that was not a professional singer and dancer and had not previously debuted as an idol. He has also sang for some of the soundtracks of the dramas he stared in, with the most well-known one being “One One Person” from “The Moon Embracing the Sun”.

He had actually proved he’s quite the vocalist in his 2013 film “Born to Sing”, proving he was, in fact, born to sing. Yoo Yeon Seok is actually a musical theatre star, starring in musicals such as “Wether”, “Hedwig and the Angry Inch”, and “Le Passe-Muraile”.
