September Variety Show Brand Reputation Rankings Announced

The Korean Business Research Institute has revealed this month’s brand reputation rankings for variety shows!

The rankings were determined through an analysis of the consumer participation, interaction, media coverage, community awareness, and viewership indexes of 50 popular variety programs, using big data collected from August 5 to September 5.

MBC’s “How Do You Play?” held onto it spot at the top of this month’s list with a brand reputation index of 9,729,407 for September. High-ranking phrases in the show’s keyword analysis included “Yoo Jae Suk,” “Refund Expedition,” and “SSAK3,” while its highest-ranking related terms included “job interview,” “release,” and “debut.” The program’s positivity-negativity analysis revealed a score of 76.83 percent positive reactions.

TV Chosun’s “Love Call Center” took second place in the rankings with a brand reputation index of 9,695,538, while JTBC’s “Ask Us Anything” came in third with a total index of 7,170,916 for September.
